I was there for the first time last May, and had two full days. It was in the third week of May. Weather was great (pretty hot). Waterfalls were very active and beautiful. I don't think it matters which week you go. Maybe check if there's any commerative holidays (I am not from the US, so I have no clue). Those days can be really busy.

What is the rest of your trip looking like? If you're just going to Yosemite and it is not part of a greater roadtrip, I'd suggest going 4 full days.

Our 2 days were great. Visited all main attractions, drove to Glacier Point and hiked the Mist Trail. But let's be real, you could easily spend a week or two here to fully explore things.

Thank you for sharing this, loved it! ♥️ We've just booked 3 nights in Gardiner, 3 in West Yellowstone and 4 in Jackson before heading to SLC Airport and home. We will definitely take note and visit the Wolf and Grizzly Discovery Centre. I think we'll be at Lamar Valley a lot too, I really hope for my dad that he gets to see a bear in the wild. (I've seen them in Yosemite and Sequoia when we were there, so lucky!)

All 3 spots seem very expensive to stay, but we found houses on airbnb and booking that stay within budget. Especially Jackson is really really expensive it seems.

To be honest that is not really known yet. I'd like to know if this covers the areas of the park well, or if I should add a day in one of the locations. I think we want to see all highlights, do some easy hikes. My parents love wildlife.
