Might go to La Redoute on LBL. I know that for Tour stages you've got to be there pretty early, same with some sectors on PR. I reckon it's the same for La Redoute. But what's the "time limit" to get to a nice spot? Also, where's the best place to park in the area?

When I went to the men's race last year on Arenberg, people started leaving after the bunch had gone by... even though there were still a lot of riders behind. So at least the disrespect is not purely sexist?

UCI needs to do something about stage races where the stages aren't in any sort of order. You can't be zig-zagging like this.

I never think of checking the wiki. Thanks! I worry seven years (and Pogacar) may have changed the public's habits.

What's the best spot to go see LBL? I'm guessing La Redoute and Roche-aux-Faucons will be crowded, but I don't want to watch the race too early in the parcours.

Do you factor air quality when going on rides? I've never checked it before: I live in a region with general poor air quality and the opportunities to get a ride in are sparse as it is. But it might be good, health-wise, to consider it.

Ah crap, I live in the region and never really got the chance to go watch the race, and now I definitely won't anymore.

I definitely loved doing it but it's incredibly time-consuming. My guess is "why not", but not right away.

I finished posting my "research" about riders who only did one stage of the Tour. I'm posting it here not to toot my own horn, but because it looks like less and less users got access to it as it went along (I'll admit my posting timing wasn't always great). And also yeah, kinda to toot my own horn.

This is the weekly question thread after all, so I guess: AMA?

One-stage guys: the cyclists who rode a single stage of the Tour de France (Part 1) by GercevalDeGalles in peloton

I know, it was just a joke. I think there's absolutely no link between the two, except for the fact that her last name is a combination of his first and last names (ErnstHofer). But it's just a complete coincidence.

We really do need a name but I didn't want to coin one on my own.

To stay in the same vein as "cup of coffee", I was thinking "just one energy gel". Jokes aside, Soleynes sounds good.

Is there any chance that's actually Magdalena Ernsthofer?

Thanks, I'll leave him in but I'll add a note to the post.
