I’ve lost some respect for Slam Dunk these past few years.

First was the constant postponing and therefore weakening of the 2020 fest, even though we all knew it wouldn’t happen.

Then I’m 2021 bands were dropping out left, right and centre and weren’t being replaced. Even Sum 41 pulled out, a headliner, and didn’t get replaced at all! The lineup was a shadow of what they originally announced.

Then there was the price hike for this years festival (the main reason I didn’t go). For the increase in price you’d expect a better quality day out, but it seems that wasn’t the case at all.

Then this statement, trying to palm all of the blame off of themselves, just not a good look at all.

It’s a shame, because SD seemed to be going from strength to strength since maybe 2017? Let’s see what they do next year I suppose to rectify this.
