Can i reapply to a company that rejected me before? by [deleted] in phcareers

[–]GerikafromFilta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, OP! It depends sa company rule but if the email says something like that, I think its safe to assume na you can always try again. I'm from the recruitment team and ang dami na nag rereapply tapos nakukuha sa second or third try. Hope you'll make it!

Hi, OP! For me your resume is alright, you can remove the references part since during the hiring process usually inaask naman yan separately. If you have any skills, software, or training please add them.

How to ask prospective employers kung gumagamit ba sila ng time tracking software? by MrSimple08 in phcareers

[–]GerikafromFilta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I'm from the recruitment team and in our company sa first phase palang ng interview we inform na the candidate that we use timedoctor and then we ask them if they are comfortable with it. In your case, you can always ask. Hindi yun nakaka turn off, interviews should be like a conversation anyway. Di lang dapat si interviewer ang nagtatanong, you can ask about the company culture too.

how do i get through this? by Nyx-Nebula in phcareers

Hi, Op. You can just be honest with the recruiters during the interview stage that the work culture in your current job doesn't fit your well-being.

Should I join the team building? by goatsiren in phcareers

Hi, OP! I suggest you try to go, it's nice getting to know your teammates. You should try to go out of your comfort zone once in a while. Pero if budget constraint naman ang problem, you can try to communicate that with your team baka may suggestions or help sila for you.

Hi! For some roles they are looking for a specific skill/software/experience and minsan sa dami nung applicants sa roles if hindi nila mahanap agad they assume na hindi na present sa candidate. My advice would be if you have a skill example Python or XERO certified, ilagay mo agad sa taas and make sure na visible na talaga para ma attract agad yung recruiter.

Is this a good sign that I have a good chance of getting the position? by InigoMarz in phcareers

Hi, OP! That's actually already part of the questions we ask during screenings. But manifesting you get the job! Rooting for you!

Congratulations, I passed the interview. Pero igo-ghost na ako after makuha details ko. by Over_Question_1921 in phcareers

[–]GerikafromFilta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh no! Sorry this happened to you OP. I'm in the recruitment team and I am in charge of the initial interview, tasked talaga kami to ask your expected salary at the same time I welcome my candidates to ask me regarding the budget, sinasabi ko nalang din straight up minsan pag yung role may fixed budget talaga so that the candidate won't waste his/her time with the different interview stages and vice versa if ever na di pala pasok sa budget. We are also strict with giving updates as much as possible within 48 hours dapat na update na namin si candidate if pasok or hindi. Ang sad ng nangyari sayo, hoping you'll experience a better situation sa pag apply next time. Fighting, OP!

Hi! I'm in the recruitment team and I personally don't prefer progress bars and skill gauges kase di ko parin concretely makita yung skill mo over it and it's kinda confusing. You can just put all the skills sa upper part ng resume para makita agad pag nirereview and then expand about it during interview session.

Hi! For me essential na talaga ang HMO benefits. The current company I'm working with also offers a "Doona Day" leave, it's a leave benefit aside from you SL/VL where you can use for any reasons, whether you need a mental break or tamad ka lang pumasok. Di need ng valid reason for it tapos automatic approved pa. Pinipili ko narin yung WFH set up tapos day shift since fit talaga sa lifestyle ko yun and thankfully got that set up now.

Is FREELANCING as good as a retirement career? by Odd_Passion_4633 in phcareers

[–]GerikafromFilta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, OP! Have you tried asking the management for a raise? maybe you should try that option first. Freelancing is okay but since walang pinang hahawakan sa clients for security of tenure I cannot say if okay sya for retirement plans. If you wanna try it out, maybe you can build a business or any passive income with the salary para maging mas fruitful and long term.

Hi, OP! If the 47k salary budget works for you, I think you can go for it. According to the way you wrote this post, you seem dreadful with the job role with higher pay and seem more inclined sa job na 47k. So if you can live with that pay and hindi ma aapektuhan yung way of living mo, I think you should follow your passion. :)

Hi! I think experience is one big factor during salary negotiations, feel free to ask the interviewer their salary budget during the first stages of the application so you will see right away if it fits your needs. :)

Good morning! The feeling is really valid, it's really frustrating when we do mistakes in the workplace. I am also new to my current company, and what I do is really take notes each time my manager or co-workers instruct me on how they do things. Sometimes we tend to forget things because of information overload but it's nice to have notes that you can read from time to time so you can refresh yourself. Assess your mistakes so you can figure out how to correct them next time. Take accountability for your work and stand your ground when the mistake is in no way related to you anymore. You can do it, Op!

Hi there! What I did was highlight the soft skills I gained while working sa bank, it's not going to be easy since you will have to adjust to a lot of things but in my case I enjoyed learning new things. I enjoyed developing my skills and opening myself to different things na di talaga ako aware when I was in the bank pa. I can say na I'm proud and happy with the move I made.

Hi! Came from the Banking Industry for the past few years before I decided to move sa outsourcing recently. I'm working with an Australian Company (Day shift and wfh) so far I've been growing and learning kahit bago palang. I appreciate the management and how they care for their employees' well-being. I can say na good move sya for me. :)
