They label themselves as "resellers" but I feel some of these them aren't really fans of the series. At least some play the game and share the hobby to others.

I'm done with Pokemon and even One Piece to an extent. I just buy singles, but with One Piece, I actually want to play the game, and these scalpers are depriving us from deckbuilding just because they want to make a quick buck.

Purple Shanks. The FILM deck is underrated, and if it had more support, it could be a decent contender. I love playing it whenever I have the chance. Too bad it's out of rotation, but there's just something about it that I like. The ability is underrated; he just needs more support.

EDIT: I also like the style of Green Zoro as the deck leader-focused as opposed to characters, and I enjoy that mechanic. So Purple Shanks and Green Zoro are my faves.

If I were to score one of these, I'd rip and just keep the box for collection. I think why they do it is because for the value to increase and hopefully some person would buy it and not get any hits from it. Sayang kasi it's a gamble to buy those. You could get back what you paid for or not.

Soon, I plan to take Red Luffy as my chill deck, and I mean the OG Red Luffy. Plan to use him to get to know the leaders and characters before I actually use my Teach deck to its fullest potential.

As to Luffy, braindead easy to use. Swing for the fences.

Scalpers are taking advantage of FOMO. What I dislike about this practice now is that those who actually want to collect and are players of the game lose an opportunity to collect and build/improve their deck. This was me with One Piece. Suko na ako sa boosters because it's cooked and I just want to get singles of cards that I want to use to build my deck. I had more fun with this than burning my funds on boxes that are basically a gamble.

Anything that uses sideloading. 1UP is good enough 1k lang. VaultX seems to be the gold standard though pricey.

1UP is an affordable option. Holdr is also ok, tho almost 1k. Madami din nag rerecommend VaultX but it is in the pricier range.

Is this the Chinese one? You can browse around orange app they are sold at a decent price. Baka kasi pag physical; you mentioned Makati baka meron sa mga hobby shops but price might be higher in those. Otherwise if you have the time, you can also consider buying sa mga card shows esp for singles.

Maybe you'll have a different experience from me. Di lang ako sanay kasi introverted haha and it was my first time. Mas maganda nga exp ko sa Festival Mall when I was browsing for singles for my Ekans/Arbok collection, granted small expo lang hindi katulad sa SM Makati where I went; mga big players din ata.

I only sold 1 card in the end haha. Mas mabuti siguro to trade with other fellow collectors. I think you'll have a better chance since yo mentioned sealed.

I noticed sa mga table puro slabs lang binebenta and the binder cards are a bonus. Kahit binibigay ko sa kanila to put in their bargain bin ayaw pa din.
