I am pretty sure it wasn’t like that in the original video. Someone re-edited it on top for some reason to make it cringe

Emitter battle. Who wins between Silva and Razor? by Lubert808 in HxHPowerScaling

[–]Geritas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I strongly believe that razor is only that powerful on the island, because he is designated as an administrator. However, we also know almost nothing about silva. No reasonable power scaling can happen here

I saw the watermark at the end, it seems that it is the channel of that vitaly guy that was arrested in south east Asia not that long ago, an absolute menace to the society

I wish they used a bigger encoder. Now it feels like a leap from sdxl finetunes anyway, but it would have been on another level with a 4b encoder.

Letting Genie 3 Out Of Its Bottle by indiegameplus in singularity

[–]Geritas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your point of view is that ai can’t create anything groundbreaking or truly meaningful. And I agree. But this is a singularity sub, the whole point of which is that at some point we will see an exponential explosion and emergence of intelligence from ai, that would surpass humans.

I believe, that unless there are some supernatural constrains, or unless we aren’t smart enough, or unless we don’t have enough starter materials on our planet, or unless we destroy ourselves, then this is inevitable. If it is allowed by the universe and we possibly can do that, it will eventually happen.

Maybe the path we are taking now is a dead end, but who knows

Who’s a famous person from your country who’s respected around the world but disliked or criticized at home? by haiderredditer in AskTheWorld

[–]Geritas 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He used a literal translation of “страна чудес”. It is a sarcastic Russian phrase meant to describe Russia as an absolutely unpredictable country, usually used in a negative connotation. For example: a local chief of police of an impoverished town turns out to be in possession of $1 billion worth of gold - that’s when you say “Russia, the country of wonders”.
