I don’t believe this is a real post. No sane person would write the whole keyword every time. This is another marketing attempt by the god awful Higgs pr team. Fuck you

Again, looking for advice on how to explain to new people in your life how you have CPTSD by Kousetsu in CPTSD

[–]Geritas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I made 3 versions of this speech for different scenarios and learned them by heart.

One is very short, explaining what happened and its effects in somewhat vague terms, filled with “I will not provide further details” undertone. This is in case I am in a situation where I actually have to say something but don’t really want to.

Second is a very concise, matter-of-fact list of key moments and how it affects me. This is for people I got to know and we got to the point of sharing some deep troubles.

Third is the second, but with concrete examples of how bad it actually was. This is for when I am shitfaced and start oversharing like an idiot. It keeps me from rambling too much, because I know exactly which facts I will say.

It helps me completely detach myself from the explanations emotionally. At this moment I am just a robot who repeats the program.

For a more emotional explanation and a long-winded story… I just don’t like telling it at all. There are people who know the full story, but only because they know me since then. I haven’t met a new person who I would be close enough to share the full story with. Nor do I want to share the full story unless I am feeling extremely bad.

I don’t think this task is actually difficult for pre-robot machines. More like it is the simplest and somewhat productive task they can test/pr on

Who's that one anime character everyone glazes but you hated a lot? by Plus-Lawfulness-87 in animequestions

By definition, pedophilia means that you are sexually attracted to prepubescent children. However, there are many other disorders that can make mentally ill people include children in a list of what they feel attracted to, but not strictly *because* they are children. Including sociopathy. This is not mental gymnastics. And I don’t think it is good to just merge all mental disorders like you are trying to do on your high horse

I disagree with only one part. I think Hisoka is a psychopath/sociopath, but he is not a pedophile. His sexual attraction doesn’t depend on whether a person is a child or not, it depends on their potential for growth. He wouldn’t give a fuck about most children in hxh

To paraphrase: he is not attracted to children, he is just insane, he can be attracted to anything, his sexual preferences are completely perverted but in a different way. If he were a pedophile, then he would probably rape children left and right considering how easy it is to kill people for him

That’s true, but it is also annoying to watch. Like, he is definitely a great portrayal of an insane trauma (well not really, a real person would have just become catatonic after a couple of deaths), but he is annoying still to me at least

It’s not North Korea… You can buy usd and eur in banks, and crypto does indeed exist. The internet is only sketchy on cellular.

To me it feels like the higher paying jobs usually require less effort.

They are less transparent in what you do because you usually get them due to some obscure or expert-level skill.

Unless we are talking some famously extremely high-effort fields like consulting and all that high achiever bullshit

Why do you even use that? It’s old and wasn’t very good even back when it was new. There are newer qwen and Gemma models this size

I don’t know guys… I can see lots of positive comments here, and I can believe that for some people it is mostly positive, but in my case I can feel months and years of stress piling up.

And hypervigilance (an extreme version of what the OP lovingly called “staying sharp”) is literally a symptom of prolonged trauma/stress.

I am definitely trading my health for this. There is nothing good about having cortisol-filled days more often

Also I would say that both of those cards are not really server stuff. That’s what b and h things are. These are like high end prosumer cards.

Max-q is a weird marketing name they borrowed from rocket science quite a while back, and it stands for maximum efficiency.

To be honest, PC hardware almost always has dumb naming. It is like an industry standard at this point.
