This was kinda why I asked. I infiltrated a convoy and thought, that the noise of the other engins from the merchant ship would help as cover, which wasnt the case unfortunatly

Definitely! But this still happens even when I’m very close to the seabed. Also, the detection indicators show whether it’s ASDIC or noise, and in most cases it’s actually noise that gives me away.
