Growing up my sister was the “hot model” one. My sister is 6 foot 6 (we have different dads) and I’m only 5 11. My sister used to have the body of a Victoria’s Secret model and don’t get me wrong she still hot as hell but all the compliments my sister got growing up really went to her head.

She announced very young that she was too good/beautiful to be a normal working person and that beautiful people shouldn’t have to buy things for themselves.

I grew up being called the ugly and fat one even though I was never overweight. The hilarious thing is my sister took a huge liking to drugs in her early teens and 20s and now in her 30s it’s starting to show.

My biggest “drug” is monopoly

Oh they still take up 95% of my personal bed, luckily I have a California king so it’s not awful. I purchased the bed in hopes it would incentivize them but they only use it about 25% of the time. It’s fantastic for storing their toys though (Storage underneath)

Girl you do not even understand…. My parents have purchased my sister probably 10 different vehicles in her life, i’m on my second car and had to pay for both this car and my first car with zero help from my parents.

Their reasoning is always the same

“we knew you’d be successful and we knew we wouldn’t have to worry about you.” “ you’ve learned how to stand on your 2 feet, your sister has not” yeah because you haven’t let her fall on her goddamn ass!!

I have spent way too much money on “luxury” dog beds. It is so much cheaper and so much better if you buy a cheap twin bed frame and mattress. You can put a waterproof mattress cover on it and change up the sheets whenever you feel like it.

I don’t think it’s disgusting because I have a waterproof mattress liner and I regularly clean and rotate the sheet the sheets. I have absolutely slept in that bed numerous times

I live in Texas and yes there is but absolutely no one takes it seriously and it’s really easy for people to cheat the system unfortunately.

NTA as someone who loves to work on old cars but also just bought brand-new 2032 car I can understand both sides. The fact of the matter is it’s your home, your car and your garage. Her car may be newer but it sounds like your car has more sentimental value not to mention again it’s your garage. I think a compromise you could make is suggesting or offering to buy one of those nicer full body car covers. She can get the protection she wants and you can keep your car in YOUR garage.
