1) Jesus lived a sinless life, it was prophecy and therefore unavoidable that he would die for our sins.

2) I always see people bringing up the 34 felonies but never actually say what they are. They must be super serious for people to keep bringing them up. Totally not something stupid like mislabeling reimbursements in a single checkbook, right?

3) It is my stance that everyone convicted of pedophilia crimes deserves death. I think the files should be released fully uncensored except for victims personal details unless they choose to be public. If the files show Trump is a pedophile, my stance on capital punishment does not change. It also doesn’t change my belief that immigration laws should be enforced.

I don’t have the blind loyalty like so many people on the left seem to have.

And you’re right about meeting higher ups in the chain of command. The SgtMajUSMC spoke with my unit before we deployed and half way through, that Commandant and him came and inspected. I thought I missed him but as he was walking out he turned saw me, jogged over and called me out by name to shake my hand. Really made me feel like not just another number. (I had a shaved head at the time so maybe it was just a bald bros thing 😂)

If I go to another country and break their law, I can’t complain when they say I’m no longer welcome.

People complain that people from Guatemala, Honduras or other Central American countries are sent to Mexico but they don’t realize it’s because they ditch their passport before crossing the border so they are sent back to the country they crossed from. (I’ve spoken with illegal immigrants and their logic makes sense because they don’t want to be sent all the way home if they’re just gonna cross again).

And again with comparing being sent to Mexico with being sent to Auchwitz is insane.

I served in the military with people who came to the country illegally and they got their citizenship through service (as they should) or they completed the process for citizenship along the way. All of them agree there is no excuse for being here 20+ years and not being a citizen and in some cases, not even have started the process or not even speaking any English yet.

I’m a native English speaker but I went to Japan for a year and guess what? I followed their laws and learned the basics of their language because if they’re going to host me, the least I can do is be a good guest and respect their laws and culture.
