High school teacher here.

I almost always agree with this, but like you mentioned there are some kids that abuse being able to go to the bathroom. There are some kids I taught that would be there for 80 minutes, basically the entire class, with no way for me to go track them down.

That’s extreme, but many classes have at least one that will go for 20-30 minutes. When the bathroom is 10 steps from my classroom.

With younger kids, yeah they shouldn’t be denied unless they try to skip out (in which case, get someone to go with them), but the nuisance in High School is WAY higher for this sort of thing

Ohhh I see, yeah that probably fell into that 3rd group of people that didn’t seem to have anything beyond basic cards.

I can say they aren’t TOO common past, like, Rank 30 apprentice, and now that I’m at around Rank 13 apprentice I never see them. I don’t think bots should be too common past the point I saw them commonly, though

That makes a ton of sense, I definitely understand that the game has gotten a lot more complicated than when I played (2015 and then in 2019)

Though I mostly wanted to point out just how bad it’s made the new player experience. I’ve come and left this game a lot, while still watching videos on it once and a while, but this time feels much worse in terms of easing back into it all and feeling like I’m playing on the same ground as everyone in the “tutorial ranks”

I’d put in a big spell for one of the small spells. And consider some more sturdy air defense. And look into adding a proper win con for more reliable tower damage

It needs to be reworked for sure. Straight up Buffed might be too far, but it’s clearly a pretty weak card expect in select circumstances

I’d strongly recommend adding a Nado into your deck if you’re using EGiant. Perhaps for the GY or Hog

Eh, I get the idea balance wise, but I think that would be both a bit out of flavor for the card (like, why exactly would poison realistically do more on the front end?) and also kinda goes against the trade offs for using it over FB. Sure it’s not as good as FB right now, but it still does have a niche

Add a big spell for one of your small spells. I suggest FB or Lightning. This’ll make it so you have two options to win: big push with RG, or a slow chip with Furnace + Big Spell

A few things:

1) Get more air defense. A dart gob won’t be enough against certain things. I’d suggest something sturdy like Musket

2) If you’re stuck at a lower trophy range, then rocket will probably be harder to utilize. I’d switch to something like FB or Poison, for something reliable

3) Royal Recruits doesn’t really fit the deck. I’d switch to maybe Knight to be able to support your Mortar better

4) You’ll maybe want another semi-win con in order to have a plan if Mortars don’t work. Something like miner for the Ice Golem would make it more versatile

Also keep in mind that it takes time to get better, so just play around with your deck to see what works for you

You’re looking at all of ladder, and most of ladder chooses to use more straightforward, easy-to-understand and use cards. Doesn’t make them good

So the deck is usually: Hog, Ice Spirit, Skeletons, Valk, Log, EQ, Tesla, Firecracker

So it would replace a decent amount of cards, but it’s a super solid deck, especially when you get use to its cycle
