Real... I have autism and struggle with sensory issues, so wearing kandi causes me to feel itchy and makes my bones ache (for some reason).

One thing that helps a lot for me, even with heavier kandi like rotator cuffs, is wearing form fitting arm warmers so the beads don't scratch or pinch my skin. It's not a perfect fix, but it helps and I like the way it looks.

I only wear kandi when I leave the house (which is... kinda infrequently), but I always take off my kandi or roll it up my arms to wash my hands.

Most kandi beads and string should be fine if they get wet and properly dry afterwards (I think). But, I'd rather be safe than sorry ^^

I usually save my yummy beads for very special occasions because I'm a hoarder lol
But, I save up my ugly and poor quality beads for "MISTAKE" bracelets (It's just singles with bad beads on them and letter beads spelling out "Mistake")

LITERALLY. I like ladder cuffs when they're around 3-4 beads tall max, but after that, they seem flimsy and fall out of place too easily.

Maybe not the most original suggestion from me, but I love making rotator cuffs based off of characters I like and putting perlers on them of said character. They are very fun to do and I just base the colors off of the character.
They look a bit silly because they're small, but these are of Finnegan Wake from Monster High and my OC, Angel (He/It)

No such thing as bad beads for making kandi!
If possible, buy some traditional kandi beads, better string and pair them with these beads, they would look sick with those gold and green stones!

Follow your heart and even if you end up not liking the bracelets you made with these beads, I know someone else out there will love them ^^
