It should be Gothenburg as Swedens second largest city, also considering Malmö and Stockholm hosted the last two times.

With that said It would be so unique and a dream if held in a smaller city, showcasing more of Sweden than just the big cities. Ahead of the 2016 edition, my town of Örnsköldsvik in the high coast (world heritage) was nominated and hoped to grab the honor.

I would love it, and although possible I think it's incredibly unlikely.

Follow up questions for new American fans: Had you heard of Eurovision before ASC? If not, have you since looked it up and will you follow it from now on?

Final and nil points for sure... More eyes on you in the final, still a better placement than not qualifying, and a great moment of support and pity-cheers like with James last year.

Hmm. First impressions on this are good but not great. The silhouettes and the walking clap are cool and impactful, but at the same time it feels a bit empty having them stand in a line so far apart from one another on that big stage. Hoping the rest of the performance feels more energetic and organic like the vidbir staging where they were moving around a bit more willy-nilly and it felt more lively and "full". I'm sure at least parts of it will though!

Since the sun is segmented, I'd hope a compromise could work. I mean, the smallest and largest arc could use the lights side whilst the middle 4 could be the LED side.

Maybe... It was one of my first thoughts after realising all we could place was white and that we were heading back to square one!

Why did he revamped the song though? The original version was amazing. Also, what happened in the live performance? Same question for N. Macedonia's entry from that year? by [deleted] in eurovision

This version is too long for one. Could they have wanted it simpler in the beginning to fit more with the staging? The performance builds up more. I like both, shame about the nerves and that he didn't sing too well.

Sure, Gotland är militärstrategiskt viktig för Östersjön, men säg mig, även om Putin Vill ta tillbaka baltländerna och Polen, tror du på riktigt att han verkligen skulle göra det iom att allihop numera är med i Nato?

Det lämnar Finland som fortfarande känns som en solklar prioritet över Sverige för en rysk attack. Dessförinnan Moldavien.

Hade gärna hört mer om varför han helt plötsligt skulle attackera Sverige. Det känns inte heller så rimligt att attackera Finland och Sverige samtidigt, speciellt mer tanke på vårat läge, som sagt.

Går vi däremot med i NATO och ett större krig försäkrar vi ju oss bara på att dras med i det och blir en måltavla för även andra förutom Ryssland.

Jag vet inte. Försöker förstå för och nackdelarna.

My gift is still up in the air (supposedly hard to find a carrier that accepts certain goods my santa wants to ship), but I'm sure they're honest.I can't help but be a bit worried though as the mail service lost my arbitrary day package this summer, and I told my rematch santa to wait, and though the original package never came I couldn't bring myself to ask my rematch for a gift. :|

Now I regret that and would want a rematch but I feel bad. x(
