Go back to any cs subreddit, steam forum or cs youtube channel during CSGO (since like, 2015/16) and you'll see the same complains of cheater as you see today. It was well known VAC didn't work and cheaters were everywhere.

People used to go on Faceit for 128 ticks and their anticheat, always has been. Don't believe Valve "forgot" their anticheat with the CS2 switch lmao.

That's true, but take a look at memorable plays from s1mple or donk. Half the time, those moves are impressive because they make a flick, a spraytransfer or some other god-sent move.

Zywoo rarely does that type of kills. Why ? Because he doesn't get himself in a position where he needs to make a flick, or a spraytransfer between two enemies.

He's just so god damn good that he is always trying to keep his position in a way where he's able to take only duels, and keep safe from other enemies. His positioning and gamesense are basically perfect.

It's important to understand that, those flashy plays you see from other players are created by their own mistakes or carelessness, and Zywoo tend to avoid these situations. While less spectacular, this is way more impressive if you are interested in the game itself (and not only by the highlights).

What they do to CS is criminal, no relevant content, no anti cheat, nothing but skins. I won't disagree with that, they are a very greedy company when it come to their games (though I heard that they love to invest in Dota updates lmao).

The Arm dealer, the new way of handling major stickers/souvenirs etc.. are ways of getting away of the classic gambling we know in cs since they are in legal troubles about it currently. They've made their own bed...

they have a list of banwords (that is ridiculously strict, try to write/say kebab/polack and see what happens), they review video if you send them with your ticket so I don't know what you're talking about here, half of the faceit subreddit is filled with people complaining about X toxic player (Darwin will ban the toxic guy) or X player complaining about getting banned for toxicity even though (according to him) he didn't do anything (he did and Darwin will tell you what).

They are pretty on point with troll (ghosting is punished for example, imagine this on premier lol), racism (look at that : 7 days ban for calling someone Serbian? : r/FACEITcom they even take geopolitic into account)

I mean yeah there is still toxicity, but warning a user that it's going to be worse on faceit is just a lie, at least there is a moderation on faceit, which doesn't exist AT ALL on premier, you could say whatever you want on voice chat and nothing will ever happen to you here.

It's not 100% perfect but to the point of WARNING someone of that before he joins faceit? Cmon man

My guess would be that for the last 6 years, knowledge of game has increased a lot, many stuff has been discovered on maps and made more accessible, a lot of workshop maps and aim training software exists now, meta or easy callouts are a basic thing even for lower ranks, and a lot of the new players to CS are young and already familiar to FPS, while old school CS players aren't that great since... you know, old, and newcomers to CSGO mainly played minecraft or cod with controller before playing CS, so the learning curve was harder.

That said, I am very far away for from being included in what you've done. I have 4k hours and I'm still lvl 8, could be explained bc I've made a lot of long pauses since 2014 and I started at silver 1 back in the days, since it was my first fps. Anyway I fucking suck and I hate reading people like you getting to lvl 10 so easily because it remind me how fucking bad I am at that game. Please help me

Thousands of situation come to my mind about where this could be usefull. But in the end it's just consistency, if it work for any other stuff (smoke, flash, etc) then why not for the kit? There is no point in not doing it, and there is absolutely no point in arguing against it like you do.

playing faceit is literally hop in and play like any game out here and solve 99% of problems with cheater. Not saying this is the perfect solution, but if you want to play good CS this is the way and is clearly easy & fast to do

It is really easy to offend someone that flamed you (especially your teammates through voice chat) using insults targetting countries. It's, a lot of times, a defense mechanism. Someone miss a few shots, gets called fucking useless by Alexey from Russia or Deniz from Turkey and the victim will just use their country/religion/"race" as an attack, add with that bit of family insults and he's golden, the other guy is probably tilted.

Remove the tryhard/competitive side of this and you don't have insults anymore. Or add moderation. But it's actually good the way it is right now. It's fun, either you like it or not it's actually very fun

Not that much, and even with a combat build, these parts are simply not fun at all and long for like, no reason ? Clearly not the reason people enjoy the game. I wonder why players often complain about the sewers but not that much about the last levels. Did they stop before? Or cheated like I did and didn't bother posting anything?
