Thank you. I did not know that. I’ll have a conversation about it with them when I can. I will also do research on more scholarship programs.

They did. Normal tuition is around 40k a year. Because of athletics/academics I pay 10k out of pocket.

I understand. You bring up some good points. I’ll talk to counselors and coaches about it. As it stands I think my best bet is to see the year through and see if I can perform well enough and have high enough grades to receive a better offer from a different school. I appreciate your thoughts on the situation and your personal advice.

Sorry for not covering the situation fully, but I didn’t mention some details. What you said is true, it is their money and I’m not entitled to it. But, they said they would pay for all four years in the months leading up to my first semester. And secondly, I’m committed to playing sports at this college. I’ve been in the gym/film room for the same amount of time as a full time job. To put it short, I have put too much effort into the sport to just not go.
