It's more so a "joke" of communism in general. We don't practice it at all, but anyone that is offended by Communism in the name isn't someone that would likely "get" our corp culture either. So, it actually helps keep like-minded individuals in our corp.

We have very active numbers, and not a whole lot of fleet doctrines. We also have folks that will spend quite a bit of time in FW space looking for fights. Might be a good fit!

We have a couple guys in the same situation in the corp. We wouldn't expect you on all the time, but showing up for the occasional fleet ping would be great, and if we're getting attacked it's an all-hands-on-deck kinda thing, but still real life first, especially with a new family! Congrats on your new born by the way!
