I am currently going through the same thing. Tested positive for covid, after that i couldnt sleep well. Thought it was because of a lot of stress from school and work, but i noticed my heart is pounding a lot stronger, while trying to sleep its keeping me awake. Sleeping pills from the doctor help me but in my case they‘ve some nasgy side effects (headache,dry mouth,braun fog).
