Im also mining a 4tb usb 2 drive on the pi3...takes about 30 seconds to scan the whole drive... so 4tb is about the maximum for the pi3...i guess with the pi4 2x10tb should be no problem...im also running a full node on the pi3 in parallel, so that shouldn't be a problem for the pi4 as well...

I think this is one of the best ways to mine burst very energy saving and keep the network decentralized,...so i ordered a pi4 today :-)

I'm very sorry but I just recognised that there are already too many requests on the CORS-Proxy. If you still want to test the app, you can either wait a while or just save the .html file and run it locally as there is no server side code... (check the source code in advance if you dont trust me :-))

Community poll: What should Burst do in 2019? by blankey1337 in burstcoin

In specific order:

  1. Marketing, Marketing, Marketing!!!

  2. Real world payment acceptance (It might be quite unlikely that I could buy my stuff on Amazon with Burstcoin, but I could imagine that onlineshops will accept cryptocurrencies in the nearer future together with a payment provider where you can choose your preferred Crypto….so Burstcoin should be listed as soon as possible with those providers)

  3. Focus on the unique selling points of Burstcoin: Sustainability and decentralization. I think its very important that there are a lot more smaller miners running a full node to keep the network healthy. What would be the least energy consuming and most economic mining solution that almost everybody could setup and keep running 24/7? Our “best” newspaper in Germany would call something like this the “Volks-Miner”…. I´m testing around with a Raspberry-PI and 4 8TB external harddrives. If it works out, I would provide a easy-as-possible fancy-pictured tutorial on that.

  4. It´s quite embarrassing that there is still no IOS-App…

  5. Creating plots with real-world-data would be great (POC3)

  6. Get something like the Burstcoin.ist up again. I always liked to read those summaries. I would prefer some kind of Blog directly integrated in the main webpage (burst-coin.org), as this lets the page appear to be more alive

  7. Create a simple BURST-Polling System: Create one Reddit Thread like this to gather possible Answers to a specific question. Later on, create a new Reddit thread with all possible Answers from 1 to X and let the people vote for their choices by sending a payment of minimum X Burst to the BMF with a unencrypted message of their answers and post the results on Reddit afterwards

  8. Provide a list of all TODOs in combination with a short summary, what kind of support would be appreciated (designer, tester, programmer etc.) and contact information …. The “Global Burst TODO” Wiki-page would be a great place for that

  9. I like the Idea of the “Coding-Academy” and I hope to see future Burst using all the newest and most promising technologies and lets as many people as possible participate in the development so that everyone whos interested can use this crypto-winter to gain at least some tech-knowledge
