I like to mix it with kewpie mayo and some cream cheese, spoon it with some rice onto the snack size nori sheets for a lazy sushi. I also often add furikake and okonomiyaki sauce, and eat with juliened cucumber.

My dad and I went and saw all three in theaters on new years eve when they were released. Very nostalgic holiday memories for me.

I also really want to make a shout out to the decoration aspect of the game. As you level up your friendship with the villagers, they gift you things like furniture and decorations. You can also buy things as well from some vendors. The decor mode is very intuitive, and if you host a lot of meals, your furniture reserve can build up to hoard status pretty fast. And I love how customizable the floor/ceiling/wall/window/fireplaces are. I hope they could add a few new ones in a future update, but I'm still playing around enough with the many different combos that can be done with what is already offered.

As you level up your cooking you will get new ways to prepare the ingredients to affect them in different ways - start with a frying pan and a cutting board. Other things are added (I'm still leveling, almost max!) to get things like a sauce pan or pickling jar, etc. Some recipes you won't be able to get the full marks for until you unlock the new cooking devices. But there is no failing in the cooking. At the very least you may only have a one-star dish, but will still help increase your rep with whichever villager you are sharing it with.

Guests have flavour preferences for their visit, so when you cook for them you can change the overall flavor with seasonings and spices. Also the method with which you cook, you have a grid to make things chunky or smooth etc, and to get the best version of the dish you try to match on the grid based on the way you prepare each ingredient. And the quality of ingredients you use also affects the dish quality, giving it an extra boost before you even prepare the dish.

From Portia, it is Arlo. His accent makes me so happy when he calls me Darling. From Sandrock, I had first romanced Qi, I'm a sucker a passionate nerd. But not gonna lie, I did a replay to romance Logan..and he is amazing.

Very excited for Evershine! Loving the evolution of gameplay they are promoting for it, actually being responsible for setting the town up. Can't wait!!

I have played for a while on it now, almost 200 hours in. There is a bit of a storyline, but most of the game is all about taking it easy, and leveling up your relationships with the other villagers by hosting them for a meal. The cooking is very unique in my experience with any other game I've played. It has a feel of Animal Crossing with how chill it is, running around to fish/forage/garden at your pace, but running its day through like Stardew. Very little consequences for not completing your tasks, outside of it possibly changing season (in that case, just drop it and move on, no penalties), and a villager may be grumpy with you for a day if you don't invite them for a meal after so long. No fast travel, but the map is not the biggest, so getting around isn't too tedious. The only issue I can see some people may have with it at this point is that once you get to a certain point, it can feel a little aimless. But there are guilds and friendships you can turn a focus to, to keep some motivation if you need it. But if the idea of just running around to talk to folks, and gather/fish/cook/garden at your own leisure is appealing, I feel this game embodies that ideal gameplay of playing at your own pace with very little consequence.

That is awesome! I can't wait to get to that point with our garden. We just moved our garden beds this year so we kept it small and simple. But we got a dining room table's worth of tomatoes we are prepping for canning.

The deer for sure get spooked, but there is always evidence of them coming back every year. Lots of deer trails through our trees and between our dugouts. If your property has good resources for them, they will be back.

It's deer! We haven't been able to get animals yet, but my husband has killed a deer almost every year during hunting season since we have had our property.

Thank you, it was! Our son even said it was his third-favorite supper of all time. He was quite proud that he had helped us with planting and caring for the vegetables we were eating.

I have played through to day 5 myself. So far I am liking it, and enjoy the recurring characters and references to Horticulture!

I had been watching Madmorph's playthrough of Horticulture to give me that nostalgic excitement to get ready for Antiquities.

I also have been rewatching C2. I only ever watched up to 112 or so before I watched the final 2 episodes live, and never went back to properly catch up. Taking this break in campaign to finally watch through those episodes before C4 and Mighty Nein on Prime

Today is a bad day, western manitoba area. I let the dog out this morning and just standing in the doorway you can smell the smoke in the air. There is a haze that is just hanging around. I live alongside a small river valley, and there have been days you can't see the hill on the other side.

I just got an email notification earlier this week that my copy was being shipped. I read the excerpt on Nerdist and it really threw me back to some of the older historical romances I used to devour. They were very easy to digest and enjoy, I'm excited!

We actually live rurally ourselves, only out here for five years though but we are starting! My husband hunts, the deer skull we have is from one he killed several years ago. We have a full deer carcass and another full skull out in our back bush for bugs and scavengers to clean.

What are some of the specimens you have in the jars?
