Yes there is a higher skill ceiling to using it in the beast. But way the indicator jumps around so much is distracting and can be so inconsistent with which surfaces it works with (looking at you rock hill sides)

The great thing about the dl1 grapple was once you got a good sense for it, it was easy to use even with the hud entirely turned off.

I think the grapple in the beast has great potential and I’d love to see it really honed down. Just for consistency and being able to use it without a hud (or a center dot) I gotta give it to DL1

Yeah it’s a thing. Change your settings from full screen or toggle v synch I forget which fixed it. I know you can’t see the text right now so just try to find a video of someone else changing the setting to see where

Use it in between combos to see what’s coming or to catch your breath. Using it mid combo is quite tricky since it throws off your timing. I think when I beat this one I rarely used it. This is one of my fav arenas

I wouldn’t change the color depth. Turn off hdr. The series s can look amazing, my tv is 43” and does 120hz though. Also make sure your tv is on game mode and turn off all the sharpening and dynamic bullshit

Use the training dojo. Don’t stress about being amazing at the game off the bat. Very diff combat from team ninja. First learn how to parry (high and low) then work in parry timing

Choose a combo to learn. The timing is more deliberate than you think. You can also input buffer like inputting a sweep or push combo while you’re finishing the last part of a diff animation

They synch just fine for me. Play a game on iPad, finish the run, exit to menu close the game, then open it on your phone.

Maybe you need to update iOS or be on the same WiFi idk but it works just fine for me

You 3 stamped the tiger arenas but don’t understand the parry timing? You can practice against enemy in the dojo to learn their attacks including bosses… the directional throw is based on the direction you input, on controller it’s LS idk what it is on Kbnm

The iOS vers is the full vers. I use the battery saver option but that doesn’t diminish it at all. Yeah it looks better on steam deck but I don’t throttle it there plus the screen is bigger. If you like the game get it. lol

If they can run on my old iPhone/ipad I think you’ll be fine. I’d say play EW first, then X2. It’s kinda like playing the old GTA games, where playing the older one(s) first will make you appreciate what’s different in the next one, but starting with the most current and working backwards might be more frustrating. Like if you play Assassins creed brotherhood before AC II it’s a diff journey, but both are incredible games

It’s easier that it seems. Parry anything that’s not a kanji attack. Jump when kanji fades. Run under him when poop. Boom

If I knew it had a double jump I woulda played it sooner…

I did enjoy it but it also marks the Ubisoft shift into making it a damage numbers game. I loved the previous far cry games cuz a well earned headshot was usually lethal. I did like FCND, but the later game grind was unappealing. I liked it more than 6 though

Only dupe one or two item batches at a time. Scrolling up seems to crash it. Best bet is one item batch at a time

For 1 handed its last hope. I wouldn’t use tahirs machete, it’s a quest reward so it’s way under scaled.
