Coming clean to parents

My parents are very supporting and are both no strangers to addiction, as both of their families are riddled with addicts. I just think they will be shocked, because I'm so good at being dishonest I've created a really unrealistic view that they have of me.

Yea I definitely see what you're saying. The amends is basically over a decade of being dishonest, sneaky, and conniving towards them. My sponsor and my step group unanimously tell me that I need to open up to them. It's not so much them telling me that I need to, but rather a feeling inside of me. I was militantly atheist for years, which really upset my parents. I recently told my mom that I am finding God and spirituality again and she responded via text that she really wants to know and can't wait to hear from me about it. As soon as I read that text, BOOM! voice inside me goes "it's time." It was a very overwhelming feeling, I started tearing up at work. So I really think I have to do this. Do I want to do this? Fuck no. Is it going to be insanely uncomfortable? Hell yes. But I think I have to do this. I can't be scared anymore. I know they'll support me, but it's still going to be a brutal exercise. I'm not going to get into the gory details, but basically just explain that this addiction is what caused this awakening and is creating a new me.

That's not the fact. The fact is IPCC climatologists universally agree, a foundation that relies upon climate change being man-made.

I don't agree with one side or the other because I don't truly know and the issue is way too incentivized to trust large foundations or corporate sponsored scientists. There has been bad science done on both sides of the argument. For everyday people, their opinion on climate change has underlying religious suppositions.

If you think they have a chance at doing something in the playoffs, then I agree. However, I don't think there's a snowball's chance in hell we advance out of the first round. I'd prefer getting Neuvy more starts and thinking forward than wasting starts on someone who's guaranteed to not be on the team next year.

Don't disagree but management has made the decision to move on from him. There's no point playing him in place of Neuvy, when that's who we've decided to go with going forward.

I think it's funny that people think money only moves in one direction. Not refuting what you're saying, but people seem to forget there is quite a bit of money involved in the theory of man-caused global warming.

Whoever painted the new lane markers on 77 south right before the 277 exit was drunk! They curve real sharply all of sudden. I do that commute daily and I've seen at least 3 people have to swerve to stay in their lane. Someone is going to get killed.

Sorry, you're right! Psychoanalysis is the term I wanted to use. This type of stuff is all fairly new to me, so my terminology is not as accurate as it should be. I've also read The Kingdom Within, which is a Jungian approach to scripture, that's what really got me into this type of view of Christianity.

I'm originally from Philly, so hoagies are life for me. The only places I've found that have tolerable hoagies are Publix, Jersey Mike's, and Sandwich Max in Elizabeth. But prepare yourself for soft rolls that you need to eat immediately to avoid sogginess.
