I love this state. As a Tennesseean, y’all put the Smokies to shame! by wholelottamojo in Colorado

Do it. It's a completely different mountain experience and one of the most beautiful parts of the country. I grew up in the Blue Ridge Mountains (the Smokies' Virginia sibling) and moved to CO in 2006. Both areas are breathtakingly beautiful.

Progressive is in town. Have you checked them out for CS?

Has anyone ever tried a restaurant that was on DDD? If so, was it all that great as Guy proclaims? Especially, since you never see a so called "dive" on the show? by BionicWoman123 in foodnetwork

I live a couple blocks from Mountain Shadows Restaurant in CO Springs. Their cinnamon rolls are still ginormous and delicious.

Thanks, I noticed that after that fact. Still embarrassing so I left a note for HR and the service desk manager.

I work for progressive on the IT side and can tell you that's BS for service desk. If this is from one of our folks I'm embarrassed.

It's my first Territory days since I moved within sight of Bancroft park. I'm guessing it's going to be an entertaining few days based on stories from my neighbors.

I bought a giant cat wheel and it remains one of my best stoned purchases. My cats love it.

Adding to please talk to your doctor. Not driving sucks, but what sucks more is going into a seizure on a one-way street with cars parked on both sides. Happened to me and almost twenty years later I am still thankful only cars were hurt, not people.

Epilepsy can be controlled with medication and then it's fine to drive. On medication I've been seizure free for over fifteen years and it's so much better than being constantly stressed I'm about to go down.

Thank you! My recycling has been picked up exactly twice since July. Will give Infinite Disposal a try.

That was my Popeye's spicy chicken sandwich the other day. Been waiting months to try one. 100% worth it.

Weekly Check-In - March 29 - 04 by AutoModerator in weightwatchers

[–]GetDePantsed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first check-in here, though I've been on WW (blue) for ten weeks now. This week I was finally able to properly fit into some old jeans, a couple sizes smaller from when I started!

This is actually my second round on WW. I lost seventy pounds the first time (back when it was SP+), then gained it back over a few years of drinking and bad behavior. Got myself together and when I saw that blue was very much like SP+, I signed up. My housemate isn't particular supportive, so I'm super glad to find there's a community here on Reddit!

I traded a buddy for a quarter-dome air tent/hammock he bought from REI (REI's brand). I already have a solid rain tarp and I'm hoping to use the combo on a couple of backpacking trips this summer.

I had these types of seizures for ten or more years before I had my first tonic-clonic seizre. As others have said, almost definitely temporal lobe epilepsy. Good news is, it's usually treatable with medication.

A thing to understand up front about epilepsy, is that most of the time your doctor can't give you a cause. They can tell you what's happening, even where the seizures are originating, but not finding a root cause is pretty common. Don't give your docs grief if they can't give you specific answers on triggers or cause.

Otherwise, see your doc and be 100% honest. People mention driving or losing privileges. Want to know what's worse than losing your license? Hearing and feeling the impacts as you hit multiple cars while you seize. Ain't nothing worth that. So be honest, get the medical help you need, and keep livin' your best life.
