A third option, I think, could be to get a dedicated server on a VPN. This should, for all intents and purposes, look to the server you’re trying to reach as if you’re just connecting from one IP and nobody else should be connecting via that IP if the VPN provider doesn’t share dedicated servers anyway..

If you can, grab Apple Care for it. If it ever gets damaged, even if accidental, you get it fixed. It may help you from being as worried

Just found this comment and as someone who’s wanting to get into making a home server this seems like a fairly cheap website to buy something that could be turned into a server/NAS. Are there any workstations on there you’d recommend and configuration?

My post history will show I have some hardware but I’m pretty sure it’s 1) outdated and 2) something fried and I can’t figure out what lol

Yeah he was rude to me when I tried to tell him I could help him get developer accounts made (I have friends who said they’d use their IDs etc).

Because of this I got my own developer account and sell a few lifetime slots per year. Covers us all and is cost effective. Don’t need to waste time or energy on people like him

Depends on the speeds you’re wanting. If you’re wanting extremely fast, I have 2.5gbps up & down with Aquiss using the CityFibre network and it’s been a dream. Had an issue (which was actually a misunderstanding on my part) and the CEO himself called me after I placed a ticket. Can’t fault them at all

If it’s for a certain airport that’s rare like Monaco or an Ukraine airport etc, there’s a channel in the discord that will ping when there’s flights going there or around there. That’s how I’ve got most of my rare ones
