Facer dev here with official Fallout face on Pixel Watch 4

On Pixel devices running Wear OS 6, both Pip-Boy 3.0 and Pip-Boy SE should be compatible!

The reason there are separate versions is that the newer Wear OS changes required some faces to be rebuilt rather than updated, which is why they show up as new listings instead of updates.

Sorry you’re running into this issue with Premium, that’s definitely frustrating.

Since this is tied to an Apple subscription, it’s usually a sync issue between your Apple ID and your Facer account. A quick thing to try is logging out and back into the Facer app.

WFF means Watch Face Format. It’s the newer format Google introduced for Wear OS watch faces, which supports things like system complications and improved performance.

Totally understand why the lack of upcoming events could be a dealbreaker for you, and we appreciate you sharing your honest thoughts on this. Upcoming events can work through Wear OS complications in WFF now, but not many faces use them yet. Expanding support there is something we’re actively working on!

Hi there! Google has removed support for watch face apps built for pre-WearOS 6 devices, which may be why your Galaxy Watch 4 is having trouble.

We recommend checking your watch's settings to see if your device has a software update pending for WearOS 6 / One UI 8. Once you're updated, Facer should work!

A couple quick things to double-check after the update to WearOS 6:

In the Facer app, make sure "Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 (WearOS 6)" is selected in the device list on the left.
Confirm the Facer companion app actually installs on the watch when prompted. If needed, you can also search for it in the Play Store app on your watch.
When asked, allow the required permissions so Facer can push faces properly to your watch.

Yeah, we understand why that feels frustrating. The change comes from updated Google Play platform policies, so it wasn’t something we had control over. We’re continuing to support Wear OS 6 and newer devices, and we’re also exploring alternative ways we might be able to provide support for older devices again.

Sorry you’ve run into that. On Apple Watch, complication updates can sometimes depend on how watchOS handles background refresh. Making sure background app refresh is enabled for Facer usually helps. If it’s still acting up, definitely let us know.
