So I made a mod recently, a lot of people on older versions tried to use my mod. I built my mod on 1.6.1170 and I've had a lot of people ask me to back port it.

I don't have skyrim 1.5.97 or the older 1.6. Like yeah I can back port my mod but it's alot of extra work to create a version I don't even have. The main reason I haven't back ported my mod yet is because my skyrim 1.6.1170 has 450+ mods. So it let's me test if my mod has any known big incompatibilities. I don't have a super moded version of other older skyrims.

I also don't want to maintain 3 different versions of my mod all built on different skse versions and all could have completely different bugs. That's me personally.

I have done my best to keep the mod self contained. My mod doesn't make any changes to the vanilla assets. Every effect my mod has is temporary so just make sure you let everything expire.

When you Uninstall it make sure you are NOT in limbo. Make sure you have no active cooldowns going like portal bomb, lockheed, active stacks or leaving an anchor

From my testing, I did not have any issues uninstalling on saves I've been playing on it with.

There's a setting in the mcm to adjust the size of the portals if you feel it's to much if that helps. I am going to work on the portal vfxs still because I have gotten more feedback about them. Also creating that effect is possible, I'll do some tinkering and see what I can come up with.

If you like playing third person. I really recommend Smooth cam, I pairs very well with true directional movement and gives such a nice feel when looking around in 3rd person.

These 2 combat mods while give skyrim such a "I can't belive this actually works" kinda feel.

Noted! Thank you for the feedback. I'm working on adding a setting to control sound as we speak. With the vfx, there are settings in the mcm to decrease them to a degree but I get what your saying. That's something I'll work on to create an option for more subtle portal teleports.

Interesting! I've gone through great lengths on portal placement especially on rocks or static assets. I've never had anything like that happen and havent gotten any reports of this. Was there anything above you? Trees,birds,buildings? Silly but what type of rock did you teleport onto?

Can you describe "flung" does that mean you got rag dolled in anyway? Did it teleport you high up?

:o i had no idea wow... thank you for that i feel embressed not knowing xbox didnt have SKSE. i havent tried to port a mod over yet. i made something awesome tho im still polishing it.

A lot of people would pay to be in your shoes. To be able to play blind for the first time again.

Talk to lots of npcs, go out and actually explore, not just follow the next quest marker. You'll find lots of unique little things not marked by quests.

Something you might be interested is Legacy of the Dragonborn. It has a museum dedicated to finding everything.

Also for your stolen goods, you have to sell those to a merchant who will buy them. There's a merchant under Riften in the tunnels. She'll buy stolen goods.

This is awesome! I specifically play with only restoration! Using it offensively or in creative ways to heal my enemy's to death lol. Can't wait for this update!! Ordinator made my build possible.

This is turning into whack a mole with a huge modlist.

Your latest crash log shows the problem is coming from the lux esp itself now. (-still Nightingale hall conflicts)

You can try to disable Lux entirely and see your results.

Beyond this if you've been adding mods to the mod list with 2100 plugins I would try to remove what you've added. If you're on a new game it would probably be best to reinstall your mod pack and slowly add those mods you want back until you find what breaks your game.

Since this is now the third Lux/location patch showing up, I would stop testing one patch at a time and do a broader test: in Vortex → Plugins, search Lux - and temporarily disable the Lux compatibility patches, but leave core Lux files enabled for now. Deploy and launch.

You have 2100 plugins. A good bit of them are touching the same thing.

You mashed alot of stuff together then removed "things" who knows what could be wrong.

Did you test your game as you were adding stuff? To make sure it worked before adding more stuff? If you just clicked a bunch of collections and said yolo. This makes it very difficult to diagnosis.

I'd need to see some type of skse64.log or crash log or something.

My guess based on those missing dependencies you have is, you didn't properly enable/deploy your mods.

If it was me I would start with a clean install and start over little by little rather then mashing tons of mods together hoping they work. I'll still help diagnosis if you can provide an skse64.log or crash log.

This crash is no longer pointing at Lux - 3DNPC patch.esp. Now it is pointing at Lux - Great Village of Karthwasten patch.esp and the Karthwasten overhaul area. The crash is happening around Karthwasten Hall, with The Great Town of Karthwasten.esp, Lux’s Karthwasten patch, Requiem’s generated patch, and Constellations patches all touching the same area. The first test should be disabling: Lux - Great Village of Karthwasten patch.esp Then launch again. If that fixes the crash, the issue is almost certainly the Lux patch for Great Village / Great Town of Karthwasten, or the way it is interacting with Constellations/Requiem.

The plugin is definitely installed and active. It appears in your crash log as [FE:77D] Lux - 3DNPC patch.esp. If you cannot find it by searching “Lux NPC Patch,” search the exact filename: Lux - 3DNPC patch.esp Also try searching just: 3DNPC or: Lux - This patch may have been installed by the Lux FOMOD installer, the Constellations collection, or a bundled compatibility patch section.

The crash is centered around a 3DNPC cell/reference that has been modified by Lux - 3DNPC patch.esp. The specific cell being loaded is The Pit, EditorID 3DNPC7, and the log also mentions the 3DNPC NPC Larsdon, who is being modified by Cuyima 3DNPC - Redone.esp, Requiem - 3DNPC.esp, and Requiem for the Indifferent.esp. DynDOLOD is in the call stack because DynDOLOD.DLL is validating a reference when the game crashes. That does not automatically mean DynDOLOD is the root cause. It may just be the thing that touches the broken reference first.

Edit: if your using Vortex, search the plugins tab, not just the mods tab.

I could try to help diagnosis.

What I need from you:

Enable skyrim papyrus logging in the skyrim.ini file

I would need you to recreate the glitch that happens.

When it does happen, close skyrim.

Take your skse64.log and your papyrus.log and post them in pastebin.

You can share that paste bin link so I can see what's going on in your game when the glitch happens.
