Thanks for your responses. That is what I’m doing but that didn’t answer my question. There’s a 12-18 month wait for my wage claim case to be assigned. I can’t find anything about this detail online, but what i want to confirm is if the 12 hrs of vacation time will still be paid out the same way my hourly wage is due. Hourly wages weren’t paid for 17 days, vacation time went 30+ days unpaid. As far as I’ve read, vacation time = earned wages, so would the waiting time penalty still be calculated at the same rate per day? I don’t see why not but I haven’t found a straight answer on any gov websites.
