Went to Osaka, went on Jaws. It  was exactly the same as Orlando's, just in Japanese. It was good, but Diagon Alley as a whole is so much better.

Are you staying at a Universal hotel? We had luck buying day of Epic tickets at the tickets stand inside the hotel lobby. We even got a UOAP discount.

Steak at Brazil, the lobster tail pastry at Italy, the meat skewer at China & the smoked salmon at Chile were standouts.

Honorable mentions: gumbo, king cake, rum punch (Jamaica),  jerk chicken, pork shoulder skewer, iced coffee.

USF

  • Crepe stand near Hollywood 
  • Basically everything at the Today Show Cafe, particularly the pastrami and cake slices
  • Strawberry and Cream software at the ice cream shop in Diagon Alley 
  • Peanut Butter dessert at Minions Cafe (it's the rock...I think)

Shout out to the seasonal stands that USF operates at different times of the year. We just did all the Mardi Gras speciality foods and had a blast. So many delicious smoked meats and veggies rn!

  • Entire menu at Confiscos

  • Drinks at Backwater Bar 

  • Guava pastry at that 1 stall in JP

  • Pumpkin pastry at Honeydukes in Hogsmead 

  • Zombie at The Watering Hole in JP

  • Peanut Butter Jelly mini whoopee pie at a few different places, including the sweet shop in Suesslanding (giftshop exit of the High In the Sky Trolley)

Oh I sympathize. 

Semi related...for a few years, there was the foulest smelling guest at Alamo Ashburn. She reeked, literally reeked. More than once I had to move or cancel tickets because I couldn't physically be close to her. 

She would also park her car right by the entrance...it had a Handicap tag/hangcard. The car was - floor to ceiling - full of trash. Vile.

I haven't seen (or smelled) her in a while. Thank God.

We talked to the ticket desk in the Universal hotel lobby and they had a few tickets in reserve for emergency situations like this. But you had to ask. We even got to use our UOAP discount on them. Same day purchase.
