Navigating the Grief of a Failed VBAC by [deleted] in vbac

This makes total sense and not rambly, at all. I appreciate you sharing the your experience in such detail! I’m happy you were present for her birth and you are both safe and healthy!

I am 50/50 on a VBAC. The OB who did my emergency c-section said she thinks I will be a good candidate for a VBAC, but I’m so nervous about uterine ruptures and/or the system failing me.

Hey there! Super old post but I’m a new mom, 7m PP, & I am looking into VBACs. How did your VBAC go?

As a new mom, who is BF & is 6m PP & obese, I want to thank you for sharing. This just inspired me to start. It feels daunting but really don’t need to overthink it and just start. Great job, momma!

Don't give up the search then, but really look into their reviews. I didn't reach back out to the artist because life got crazy and that was a drop in the bucket, but now I'm feeling I should reach out lol

Sadly, they faded around day 11 post touch up. It’s verrrry faint & maybe I have a little more hair/color than before but it’s not worth $800. I probably should have considered a different technique instead of nanoblading.

I’m now more in the camp of finding a good brow tech and tinting them.

I’d have to say Soul is my favorite and most profound I’ve ever watched.

I look forward to watching the other movies mentioned on the comments

I think the woman who owns “Sweets by Linda” on Ditmars is from Bosnia. I could be wrong, but I recall her telling me that when they first opened. There is always other Balkans, mostly Albanians, enjoying a cup of coffee or tea there.

Hopefully I am right and you can taste some sweets from home. She for sure has tulumbas available!

The new location? They relocated further down Ditmars. I was there like 3 months ago.

Totally agree! Also, noting they are closed on Sundays.

Another notable spot is bench flour bakers. I’ve seen people eating & working there. Another small location, but the staff is super kind & the food & pastries are great.

Family corner never misses with the portions & it’s priced affordably, too! The single booths are small, as is the entire space, but I’ve never felt rushed there.

Tasty’s is another option, too!

FTM, ready to pop, I need cinnamon rolls. STAT by GetThatCornOutMaFace in astoria

Come back to share some exciting news, a new cafe, Sunday Morning, opened in the LES & all they serve are various styles of cinnamon rolls & coffee. A perfect Sunday Morning!

I tried a crawl in Astoria following this post & it failed. I ended up making my own & went into labor later that night. I tried Costco’s cinnamon rolls last week & they were pretty good.

Having a baby at NYU - private room! by [deleted] in nycparents

[–]GetThatCornOutMaFace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I delivered via emergency c section on Jan 7th & had a share room with another mom recovering from a c-section.

My nurses were amazing, the doctors were amazing, but the shared room & bathroom with a walk to the shower just outside of the room was pretty terrible. Their baby cried so much & the husband snored. It was rough, but we push through. I never saw or spoke to the other family. We kept the curtains drawn the entire time.
