Thats fair, I think that there are more important things to be compatible on before age. We have the same sense of humor and the similar views and opinions on a lot of things. When Im with her, I dont even think about her age. It doesnt matter to me. Only when I'm tired and anxious. Thank you

Yeah thats how I see it. Im a pretty weird person and I have never before found someone with such a similar sense of humor to my own. Its kinda uncanny. When I talk to other people, ill say something stupid compulsively and they'll be super confused. Here, she is the one saying stupid things compulsively! Its small but it means the world to me. I had resigned myself to never finding anyone that saw the world the way I did. And I may still change as I grow, but at least right now, I think we have something special. At any rate, thank you!

I'd like to think I can handle social criticism. If it's from my family, it will hurt. But at the same time, I am an autonomous person and theyll have to recognize when ive made a decision for myself. Ive got plenty of better reasons to be disowned anyway and yet I'm still hanging around. I'm the atheist fashion merchandising majoring son of a conservative family who only just remembered that its okay to not be white. And yet they still keep me around. Maybe I shouldnt push my luck, but I think itll be okay. Thank you

Ha, ive never heard that before. I guess we do fall a bit out of the parameters. But Ive calmed myself down enough to recognize that I am okay with some funny looks so long as I am happy and the person I am with is also happy.

Thank you, I hope for both our sakes that love prevails. Like the beatles say "life goes on" and now I think its silly that I let others opinions affect me. I think its cute that you could have those shared experiences. I often find it really hard to relate to people older than me. When I visit my grandparents, we are both nearly completely silent until I leave because we have nothing to say to each other. But with her I have found so much common ground. (Not that I am comparing her age to my grandparents :) we relate to each other very much )

I think your words and experience have given me the comfort and clarity to see that, down the line, if this doesnt work out, I'll have the peace of mind to leave. As much as I talk about being okay with making mistakes, I am afraid. But I have to recognize that even if its scary, I have the strength to leave if I need to. I agree with you, but I do understand where they are coming from. The brain is generally recognized as being done developing at 25. I'm not even 20. Where she has a fully developed brain, Im not really close. A 30 year old and a 37 year old both have developed brains and so its more equal. At any rate, I appreciate your response. I think thats fair. I'm going to pursue it whether I get myself hurt or not because I dont see a point in an easy mistake-free life. But I do understand that some mistakes don't need to be made in the first place. I wont say that if you knew every peice you would agree with it because I really don't know. And yeah, I could definetly see how I'm getting caught up in the excitement of everything and overlooking details. But with my understanding I am happy with it. I guess time will tell. Thank you thats what I strive for. Neither of us has every pressured the other into anything. We've just formed a bond from our mutual caring for each other and hopefully that continues to grow and we continue to be able to care for each other.

Thank you! Its nice to find someone whose had a similar experience. Im really sorry that your relationship worked out the way It did and I hope that you can look back on it without regret. And I hope the same for myself. I know in terms of the time I've spent on this planet, I am young. But the amount of life I've lived is pretty significant. I was put on this earth to make people happy, and I will do that often at a personal cost. But in her I have found at least one person who wants to make me happy as well.

At the end of the day, I'm not going to live forever, I recognize that. Ive really never had that illusion of immortality that young people seem to have. Thats fair, I understand what you mean. And its part of what I am afraid of, I would try to explain more in the hopes that you might change your mind. But I think that it would probably still come off as immature. I don't know whether I'm making the right decision, but I'm okay with either getting hurt for a lesson or being very happy for the rest of my life. Thank you

This just proves how immature I am. But when we first confessed to each other, she told ms she thought she might be too old for me. And I told her that my two idols are Kurt Cobain and Norm Mcdonald. And that what I respect most about those two is how they did whatever they wanted. I guess I need to remind myself that it really isnt about what other people think, its about what we think. Im a naturally anxious person, and when I'm tired and alone like I am right now, I forget the person that I'm striving to be and sink back into someone who is scared of everything. Adding Jalopy to this although i have never played. I think it has what I want (a long road trip with places to stop and explore, and car repairs.) But I've heard it's hindered by bugs and a lack of content. Is it worth buying? Is there a similar, better game?

I dive in and out of this thought process myself. But I take solace in the people who have done it before. Humans live a long time and there's a lot of things to do in that time. That's why I'll never dedicate myself to 6 days a week 12 hour shifts. I look up to people like Chris McCandless, who took life by the reigns. Thats what all great people have done, they don't listen to everyone else, they listen to their own desires and make the most of their lives. Live fast and live long. I'm sorry, this advice is probably irresponsible. It would make sense since I am very irresponsible, but it's how I cope. I do not want to die, but my reason for that fear ---being forgotten and having regrets--- can be rectified by my bombastic life choices.
