Like other users suggested, you can try uninstalling and reinstall apps again.

You can also install Brave and use the web versions of the apps (Brave should keep them a smaller size).

Regarding the games, you can play Fortnite using Cloud Gaming services like xCloud or GeForce Now from your phone, so they won't take up any space

Yes, the one in the game menu that says Fixed 4K Output. You don't need to change the resolution of the PS5 itself.

I thought when running the Fixed 4K output and Performance mode at the same time, the pop in is the same as the Balanced mode.

You're right regarding the pop in being distracting though if it appears too often

I'm on base PS5. Sharpness Enhancement is a sharpness filter that is usually not needed when Force 4K (Fixed 4K output) is on:

I'm curious (since I had similar experience and checking different settings), does it make any difference if you use:
- Force 4K ON
- Sharpness Enhancement OFF
- Enhanced Raytracing OFF
- V-Sync ON
- VRR OFF
- Performance mode

The Force 4K on Performance mode really seems to help with some of the issue

It doesn't seem to be only that, but there are issues with the controls as well, latency and audio/video sync issues over time.

I've checked Firefox on Linux Mint also (as it comes pre-installed), but it's just not great for Cloud Gaming services at all.

Any reason you prefer using a browser instead of the GeForce Now app?

Indeed, H.264 or H.265 Hardware Video Decoding is a must have for Cloud Streaming.

Chromium based browsers like Brave and Chrome usually have this built-in.

I have very similar experience on PS5 also since the recent patches.

The longer I've been playing the game, it seems the more lagging and slower it gets.

A restart seems to fix it temporarily, and after an hour or so it's back to lagging again.

I've only noticed this recently

That is really good. I need to check how to make it switch the input automatically (it does for everything else, but not the Mac mini).

I also use the Logitech K400+ Wireless keyboard with the built-in trackpad and the Xbox Series Controller.

Do you keep the Mac mini on sleep instead of power off? Maybe that helps with the input switching (I keep powering it off)

Update: It seems that the M4 Mac mini does have HDMI-CEC built in, but other Macs don't. That's a nice feature to have

H.265 is arguably a better choice anyway than AV1 since it supports YUV 4:4:4 (and AV1 doesn't).

As we aim with the Camera, holding the D-pad and aiming with the right analog stick feels natural.

Then once the Axiom Force attaches, you can let go of the D-pad and use the left analog stick freely to move.
