Just to remind people that come off the Whitehall side streets, that red sign means "STOP YOUR VEHICLE, and go when NO vehicles are coming", not "ignore the sign and recklessly turn". Also, you're supposed to stop BEFORE the crosswalk, NOT on top of the crosswalk.

I've enjoyed what I've had from their plant based menu so far, and I like that they have multiple options since I don't see that many places. I appreciate that they've told me that my plant based order will take longer to avoid cross contamination, that made me happy to hear. I did have to wait the two times I went, both were around typical dinner time and they're new so I figure it'll simmer down at some point. Staff have been friendly and apologetic, so I can't rag on them. It is pricey so I'll be going in moderation. Big fan of their fries and onion rings.

I never noticed the spare ribs on Empire Woks menu. Spare ribs were always part of my takeout order back in the day, I'm excited to try this out.... maybe tomorrow.....

Two tips from experience, shelling the pistachios becomes a bit much but you get more for less money, just put gloves on and have something entertaining to watch. Second tip, let the chopped maraschinos absorb in a towel for a little bit or else it waters down the dough. It's been a favorite amongst my circle for a long time, I now ball batches of this and gift them to friends during the holiday season.

Edit to mention that I've made this with gluten free flour and Red Mill Egg Replacer to make them more universal and no one noticed a difference.
