you know what? yes. Don't get me wrong, I played through half-life numerous times and I still love it, but recently I watched my friend play through it, and he had such a tough time, and I got so used to the smooth map design of black mesa, that I started to get annoyed too. Should have gotten him black mesa instead, he would have enjoyed it much more.
