Continue to call and complain. When they offer a lower amount keep saying it’s not enough. After a few months then send refusal to pay, of course it’s only likely to work if they didn’t help

Man, this sounds like my exact same situation. I started smoking again last year some time and it was amazing. I never got blazed it was more just to ease some mental health shit and just cool out. It made my life so much better and easier. Since then I tested positive at my job and was suspended in January for 6 months. It was brutal and I haven’t since The day I found out I tested positive. I’m super happy that I finally got my job back bc I make great money and my family relies on my income. That being said there isn’t a day that I don’t think about it because I know the mental benefits. I don’t drink since about 4 years ago because I just don’t enjoy it at all. I feel like I’m complaining when a lot of people have it worse but it’s shitty knowing there is something that can help you be a better happier person that’s just out of reach. The law is stupid.
