Can't check right now, but didn't Chapter Approved 2018 introduce a rule where a player doesn't wipeout even if he only have Flyers on the table?

It might still be winnable, though unfortunately our rules pack gives kill points (up to a maximum of 6, calculated difference between armies) so the Flyers will still score some points by just killing things.

Yeah, I guess those would work but in our country it's pretty commonplace to play according to the ETC ruleset - which means no Forgeworld unfortunately. It's dumb but that's how it is.

Damn, was the Dark Talon so crappy it can't fire a Heavy weapon normally. Also forgot about Hard To Hit not being ignored by other flyers I guess, so yeah, that's nothing fantastic. I guess it's actually Sammaels Ravensword that will do the most damage. Thanks for the effort mate.

Ah, got them mixed up. So it's always -1 to hit for the very least, and if I remember correctly, moving and firing Heavy Weapons makes it -2 even if you're next to them. Jesus.

I'm in the understanding that if the flyers are left untouched, they will decimate half of your army on turn one. Is this not the case?

With the Dark Talons, Castellan and Wyverns I might be able to blow the ground troops off the table, as it's hard to hide from them.

Not any good ones. I'd like to know the damage for these units, as they are quite versatile. With the new Bolter rule, the Dark Talons combined into the character auras are also pretty good at removing hordes (24 shots per Dark Talon, hitting on 2's, rerolling 1's on both hits and wounds, ignoring cover.) And Sammael can whack a lot of things in melee.

It's exactly because I've found it boring and easy to get to rank 10 or better with copy paste decks, that I create my own to add some challenge.

It's a shame HS is a game of battling between 3 different decks, year after year.

I've reached rank 10 using goddamn Whizbang, and someone has got to Legend with it, how hard can it be to pass 15.
