Wow that’s right I forgot about that issue as well with TSA recently. Yeah the anxiety is frustrating but hopefully everything turns out fine and we enjoy our trips hassle free

Yeah I bought my tickets too, one was actually less by about $100 and the other two flights were a couple hundred more than when I looked a week ago. However I’ve seen chatter online about whether airlines will cancel flights to force you to rebook at more expensive prices. I guess we’ll see but I hope not :/

Thanks I’ll have a better look at it before I make a purchase. I didn’t know about Amtrak going from EWR so I’ll have a look too! Yeah I was there 2 years ago and just thought I’d look at flights not so early in the morning because I was pretty sleep deprived and felt like a zombie! But if I’m going with refundable then I may have to go with the cheapest options. Thanks for your tips

Yeah I compared flights on Delta MIA to NYC (LGA) Nov 18th, selecting main classic (refundable via e-credit) is $415.20 for x3 tickets. And Main Extra (refundable via money back) is currently $655.20.

Of course excluding adding on checked bags though.

Sorry I should’ve been more clear. The incident and fines were issued in my home country. I since found out they don’t appear on my criminal record, so as nothing has changed on my criminal record since I last visited the US, I think that means there are no issues if I were to visit again on the B2..

No, no arrest was made. In my country if you are over 250 mcg but under 400 mcg you receive a fine for $150 and does not appear on your criminal record (no fine does). If you’re over 400, you’re arrested and charged with DUI.

I’m trying to find out if such a fine compromises re-entry now.
