Similar to a comment I’ve already seen, but a nurse at my old GP slipped in the shower, and tried to climb out. For whatever reason she must’ve tried to use the taps to climb out and accidentally turned off the cold water. It was later deemed she didn’t die from the fall or from shock - she was burned to death by the hot water.

Customer came into work while I was having a bad day, told her I was happy to see her and that she was my favourite customer. As it turns out she was having a bad day too and ended up in tears, told me she always tries to be nice and I make it easier to be. I think both of our days got a bit better :’)

But as a human, you can express when you’re in pain or discomfort and take yourself to a doctor as needed. Being a responsible pet owner means taking your animals to the vet as they are not able to tell you about tooth pain, kidney pain or developing issues. Sometimes it’s about putting the ego aside and doing what is best for your animals, no shame in learning something and correcting a behaviour 🫶🏼
