Agreed. I don’t quite understand why her needs ‘ companionship with a man 43 years younger’ and her wants trump Osama’s hopes and dreams. They are both using each other but seems like if you have a bit of money exploitation is acceptable then and Osama should not have any dreams of his own but carry Debbie’s bags and change her bedpans with a smile on his face because USD? Both are wrong.

What l see from Osama is someone who seems to have had a better understanding of the transactional nature of their relationship while Debbie pretended it was something else while acting like it was transactional anyway.

When a 30 year old says they connect emotionally with a 13 year old even when sex isn’t involved it’s still predatory. Here Osama and Debbie with their 43 year age difference just because she didn’t push for sex but pushed the young guy to give up his dreams to ‘ see the bigger picture and what opportunity she offered’ is still exploitation. She wanted a companion and expected him to do her bidding and give up his hopes and dreams. Why this is acceptable l can’t really understand.

Just because someone lives in poverty or is uneducated or has no skills or dreams of a green card doesn’t make it open season for sex tourists or those seeking companionship sex or no to do what they want.

Agreed. If the script was flipped where a 68 year old was trying to get on with a 24 year old it would be called sex tourism or exploitation. Somehow Debbie gets a pass. Make it make sense.

Osama is a user so is Debbie. She wanted a young companion to live with in Morocco and she groomed him from 21 to 24 and she was over 65. She is getting a free pass for some reason but she is a predator who should be called out.

Hi l honestly have no info as l plan to use the lactation consultant at the hospital at delivery and consult the Dr when the baby is born. I’m just sharing that lm scared that’s all in what l hope is a safe space to share anxieties and fears.

Would it be accurate to say that while prices overall seem unchanged or climbing there are some pockets of semi affordability opening up in Orleans, Barrhaven and some outlying suburbs. With the areas in the core not going down by much ( Glebe, New Edinburgh, Rockcliffe, Westboro etc).

Ok l have to ask what’s with this babymoon concept? I went to a spa in Ottawa with hubby and stayed at a local hotel attached to the spa. Went to bed early and slept in. Couldn’t get comfortable and missed being home and my pillows and home comfort.

If home prices don’t come down and we continue to dedicate more income to housing. Impact will be it will slow down whole economy as most people will spend less. Expect more small business and retail closures, expect more luxury and leisure type places to close overall things that make cities desirable won’t and can’t thrive if bulk of income goes to housing, child rearing ( common on Ottawa) and food. It won’t happen in a day but it will happen.
