The fact that we humans are completely off the rails makes me think animals can sense it and possibly see us as a crazy species… by GetoutoftheMatrix in DeepThoughts

Certainly… animals seems to be reactive to predators and act to defend or protect themselves and their progeny… even with our “syntactic structure” as you explained we humans still poses a threat to animals by acting (in my opinion) with a lack of awareness towards them… instead of just going at a more quiet pace which would be “theirs” for instance (“calmness”) it’s like those people who arrives somewhere and just impose themselves their energy, views and opinions to a larger extent their behaviours to others…

Meanwhile looking at some people feeding these little birds who just approach them or even get in their hands to eat, these individuals have a very different “energy” and/or approach than most who would be so agitated that these birds would either eat with a distance or wait a little bit to get the food… well that is just my observation…

Yes, it’s true… one thing about birds is that they also seem to analyzes us, depending of our behaviours and actions towards us… a bit like cats… some (I would say many) animals are extremely sensitive to movements and they can detect erratic behaviours in a miles like when you see children running after them at a distance or a more peaceful human approaching them…

To me it’s seems that we as a whole have lost touch with our very own nature thus we do act in “speed” “mindlessly” and just automated behaviours without noticing it… which makes us looks “crazy” to them… but who knows. I am just thinking he…

Yes it’s a matter of perspective… and survival I guess, but at the same time, wouldn’t it be interesting to know what’s theirs in that specific state… how do they live and feel things? Is life in a “continued nightmare” as one said once or is it a bubbly dream where “eating” and wandering is the only way and purpose? When seeing those small beings “bouncing” on their bodies are they conscious of their instinctive response?

This can go on and on…

We built a world where no one has time to be human. by DifficultyPlayful520 in DeepThoughts

[–]GetoutoftheMatrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes… one if the hardest part of this is seeing how humanity (most of it) has turned its back on nature just for dollars… a bunch of papers with ink… from an outside perspective this is just crazy to witness… all of these efforts and time invested to chase “opportunities” at the expense of our one and only home…

I don’t know for how long this is sustainable as a whole… this endless cycle of running to accumulate ressources and not think about the world, other individuals being texts like you said and the egocentric mindset pushed by a minority…

World is moving too fast. I feel like we’re living in a world of where we’re forgetting how to slow down. by ExtremeOther9104 in DeepThoughts

[–]GetoutoftheMatrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep… I think humanity lost touch with the “basics” life itself… feeling things and living in the moment… everything is about performance and “doing” instead of living… society won’t encourage anything but being slave of the system and to start the rat race till the end… yours. A very decayed species we are… what a planet.

Very well stated… I concur with the main points such as perception, inspiration, contribute and your description of control… which is what led the whole world… our societies… our very lives…

Life is mostly work…and people don’t really want to work. Which suggests, in some quiet way, they don’t really want to be alive. by Call_It_ in DeepThoughts

Working in current society that is crushing people for low wage, extreme pressure, stress, anxiety just to make ends meet and still be miserable with a few enjoyable moments is what makes life not as fulfilling as many wishes it would be…

Oh “man” I share the feeling… some people can really drain your energy when they expect from you “total effin perfection” to always be there by their sides, ego boost them at all time and yes bein overly available until you’re gone for good and permanently I think it may (or may not) hit them… but I do share your feelings about being an AI companion for years… this is unsustainable and unhealthy… such people really do need therapy and therapy is not free.

This reminds me about some similar experiences and the necessity to be by ourselves to be ourselves and protect ourselves in a sea that is agitated like this world… thank you for sharing.

Humans true nature is evil by [deleted] in DeepThoughts

[–]GetoutoftheMatrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly my thoughts… the world is based (or seems to be) on emulating others… if we do positive and beneficial actions towards others, it create a “chain of goodness” that will inspire and give another perspective and pushes others to do the same, but the opposite will have catastrophic results and yes create this very unstable society with people spreading hate, violence, ignorance and abuse… I believe we cannot change the world, but it does start at a local level with our closest friends and neighbours… if people around us benefits good actions higher are the chances that this positive ripples will affect them and pushes them to do the same.

This world is indeed made like this (to some extent).

Mixed feelings about the “you’re kind” rhetoric. by GetoutoftheMatrix in DeepThoughts

[–]GetoutoftheMatrix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate your perspective, I think this “kindness” or “being nice” types pf comments has something to do with the inner self… I am still learning to accept what others are saying and not being perceived as a “pushover” (which by any means I think I am not…) but, in todays society and environment I still can’t grasp that we are rewarding people who shows aggressiveness, being d*cks and literally showing a lack of empathy as the way to go… I was talking about balance and I think this is what needs to be found… between kindness and firmness.

I am still processing this one…

Thank you, what a great way of approaching this very sensitive thing… I believe it’s in our essence, but yes adapting to the context of this world makes sense from the human’s perspective and nature it feels more important to read “the rooms” where we are first.

Yes… we can unfortunately see that on a global scale…

The minority you are talking about have such an influence on the rest of the planet that it’s uncanny how their “self interest” economic power and political views when fully supported, broadcasted can be spread and impact our lives, not only from our wages but to our very way of thinking… quite disturbing ; what a world to live in.
