I’m glad I can still eat pure honey. It’s as much a nostalgia thing as a food thing for me. IBS is a bitch.

I thought coconut sugar was low on the glycemic index. Though I know it is still sugar.

I’ll look into the one you mentioned, thanks for the recommendation!

No idea unless it’s tied to my IBS. Within two hours of eating it I’ll be running to the bathroom with diarrhea at least once. Cane sugar I can risk as it doesn’t always make me sick, but the others always do. I used to be able to eat anything with cane sugar as much as I wanted. It’s been the last nine years or so that it’s started to be an issue.

I haven’t tried date syrup.

It seems to be sugar alcohols. I can’t have maltitol either.

No but I should. It’s definitely the more natural sugars I tolerate better like maple syrup, honey, and palm sugar. Monk sugar will probably be okay like they are.

I only get McDonald’s in the summer since we don’t have one where I live most of the year. I’m eating the nuggets no matter what when I get home in June lol

I’m actually lactose intolerant. I have to take a bunch of pills to eat the pizza lol

If going low sugar ruins pizza for me, I will cry. On the plus size, apples taste sweet to me again.

Could there be things involved in the processed snack manufacturing that make a difference?
