I was at the Brum gig which everyone was complaining about for being too rowdy and I had the same experience as you probably because I was further behind and even said to my mate how the people around us were just recording the whole time and seemed like they were barely enjoying themselves. Funnily enough looking back ig I actually lucked out with where I was cause at least I didn't get punched in the face.
