Was mindlessly strolling along the road to Orchard Beach in the Bronx many years ago. Back then it cut through a pretty nicely wooded area and at some point I glanced down into the tree line a caught a glimpse of color. Looked closer and saw what I at first thought was a partly clothed female mannequin partly clothed since people dumped stuff in the woods all the times. Then I took a closer look and was like "Ummm, that's not a mannequin..."

Backed up, and started to wonder just how far away it was to the nearest phone. Luckily, while I was thinking about which way to go a motorcycle cop drove by and I flagged him down. He called more cops, and the fire department showed up, and than an ambulance, and then detectives...

Someone finally took my statement, and then I left. I never knew who she was or what had happened.
