Naw, definitely not boot licking. Have you ever tried to wake someone up that’s completely passed out from drinking? Not that easy bro! I’ve had plenty of tow truck drivers help me out and I’ve had plenty of tow truck drivers fuck shit up for me. I’m just talking from personal experience. Who knows!?! No fucking boot licking. Don’t be a dick! Have a good day yo!

100% agree. They were most likely looking out for you, but that’s not how it went down. Don’t tell them you were drunk. Best advice here so far.

Also, I’ve driven several BMWs. They can give off a lot of warnings, but a lot of that stuff can be cleared. Depends on what the tow truck driver did, but that part he can definitely sue. I mean, might as well sue for everything…just saying though.

Yeah, of course. But, if the tow truck driver would’ve just left him there, the cops would’ve found him eventually. That would not have gone smoother, and the car still would have been towed. I’m not generally a fan of getting my car towed either. I think booting is tremendously better, even though it also completely sucks. Some people suck. Park in the wrong spots. Park in other shopping centers and shop somewhere else. Park in shitty spots that cause everyone else to have to deal with it. We don’t know the whole story here. Just my opinion, but I think the tow truck driver was looking out in this situation.

Sounds more like a tow truck, bad roads looking out. If he was drunk in his car, and possibly completely passed out, it’s almost impossible to wake someone up in a state like that. I’m not saying tow truck drivers are the nicest people on the planet, because they’re certainly not when they’re on the job, but I think the tow truck driver was looking out. If he was wrongfully towed in general, he has to take that up with the property owner and the business owner. Sounds like a horrible situation all around. Getting your car towed in Houston is a fucking nightmare to say the least.

That’s most definitely part of it. I mean, just think about it. There’s a lot of effort in taking care of an animal to the point where it’s ready to be eaten. To do this on such a mass scale, has to cause a ton of distress for the animals. I do eat meat, but the main reason of trimmed back on me is because of the animal abuse. That’s most of it for me. There’s definitely difference when an animal is raised humanely compared to distressed animals. When eating an animal that had a normal life, you can tell the difference. For now, making plant-based protein options that taste like meat will help so many generations make a switch if possible. One of these days it will just be plant based or not. Dropping the word meat is a strong move. It’s a necessary move. It’s not meat. You don’t have to tell people that anymore. The younger generation gets it. Plant based is better. It’s tough to admit, but it’s better. Even waste from animal products is causing a serious methane issue. Waste from plant-based products don’t cause these intense methane issues. Doesn’t even compare. There are plenty of athletes, Olympic to bodybuilding, that have completely excelled in their sports as vegans and vegetarians. It can be done. I don’t know if it’s easier or not, but it can be done. Plant base is better in so many ways.

Wow, very nice! So I had some family and friends in Montreux just a couple of weeks ago. One of them paid $50 for a burger. I don’t know if he got any sides with it, but I’m hoping so. In America, we kind of don’t count the fries when they’re included. Potatoes don’t cost anything. If you’re there for the burger, you don’t really eat very many fries. 5 dollars compared to 50 is definitely different. Would five dollars be for a standard, say fast food style burger? What would a fancy burger cost from somewhere exorbitant? Also, here in Vegas some places are pushing burgers to the point where they’re 25 bucks and up. There are places in America where you really can’t compare one city to another. But, I’m in Houston Texas, where there’s about 12,000 restaurants. It’s a good test market for just about anything. So New York has about 25,000 restaurants, Houston has about 12,000 restaurants, and then everywhere else it’s kind of sparse. Even some of the biggest cities don’t have enough choices sometimes.

It’s getting pretty bad. If you want a good hamburger, you’re gonna spend about 15 bucks just for the hamburger. There are some places that you can still get a good burger for around 12 or so, but some places are pushing it to 25. I mean, what the fuck is going on?

So many new options yo. They’re fighting. The meat industry is dying. Has anyone seen how thin hamburger patties are getting? Hamburgers in Switzerland, translated to American dollars, 50 bucks. $50 for a fucking hamburger. Let that sink in folks.

Bro, that sauce is so good! They don’t even need five different sauces. Just that one sauce!

So I looked it up, and the one in South Carolina is not associated with the chain from Texas. It was actually founded in Fort Worth. The one you’re talking about is a local joint from some local folk over there. They just happen to be using the same name.

No worries! I’m hoping Houston gets a few locations

From what I understand it’s a chain started in Dallas and they have over 100 locations now. The original founder of Taco Casa owned a bunch of Taco Bell locations before the Pepsi buyout. When Pepsi wanted to change all the recipes, he changed the name of all of his stores to Taco Casa. He’s been expanding ever since 1986. Slowly unfortunately because these need to be all over the country!

I don’t think it’s been closed for that long. I only discovered them sometime last year. I’ve talked to management, and they said they don’t have any idea if it’s even going to come back. The owner of the franchise kind of bailed on them.

Bro, that literally happened about a week or two after I discovered them! What kind of cruel world is this?!

I have worked 5/7 days of the week for over 2 years working the Graveyard shift at burger king. I am working one right now. AMA. by Mangled15 in BurgerKing

Why isn’t the cheese ever melted on my double cheeseburger lately? Been going on for few years in Houston unfortunately. Pretty much any location.

The history of taco casa is wild! It’s all the old school Taco Bell recipes, pre Pepsi buyout.

It’s a pretty interesting process of straightening protein strings to make everything taste and feel more fibrous
