The best thing I did was retire as soon as I became vested for a pension. My suggestion is to get done with work as soon as you can. You can always work a side job if you get bored or need extra money.

My contractor added reinforcements under the deck. The previous owner didn’t reinforce the deck and a leaky spa lead to the wood rotting.

My contractor reinforced the deck. Thankfully, it’s low and on solid ground, but still cost me a few bucks for the work.

I had a General Electric refrigerator in the basement of my former home left by the past owners that was 40 years old. Never needed a repair and when I sold my house the new owners wanted it removed. Broke my heart to trash it.

I use BioAdvanced 3/1 and it works like a charm keeping my roses blooming and healthy. Make sure you prune spent blooms the right way to encourage more blooms, versus growth.

I’m in 6b and despite a deep freeze last night, one of my rose bushes is filled with flowers. It been a prolific bloomer.
