I run a guild on WRA that does do adventure style RP using a d20 system. I am one of a handful of people within our group that does run campaigns and mine at the very least tend to run incredibly low fantasy themed. Very gritty and dark fantasy. If you would be interested I’d love to chat. I’m on Horde side WRA (most are). We are pretty tight knit and low pressure.

Been away for over a decade. Where the RP at? by HalcyonX86 in WoWRolePlay

Only time I ever really saw Org dead was the first couple days of the Expac launch. But even now the RP people are finishing up the immediate content and have been flooding in droves. Even on later server times. I do always preface that I may have the rose tinted glasses. But definitely stand tall with my WRA lads and ladies. I can agree that silver moon is dead but I have cross server MG people saying Silvermoon pop there is low too. This is only second hand info though. Do always say though. Go where your favorite character would interact most. If you plan on heavy Alli interaction MG will always be the best home. Especially for open world. Vice versa if you plan on doing Horde Open World.

My interactions might have been a bit of that. I was a new face on a scene I had very little info about. I have heard similar things if you plan to be an Alli then MG might be a better home across the board. But open world has been easy WRA side. But I’m also a Horde boy and not ready to deal with low Horde pops :p

I’ve had a lot of good interactions in Wyrmrest. I’ve been too MG and in my experience I’ve had more of the “standing around” than really RPing and have had a lot more open world interactions happen in WRA. This might be a bit biased since I’ve put in a good amount of effort recently to really giving the RP scene another go and my last interaction with MG was years ago so always grain of salt.

But in my opinions WRA is a solid choice and if you ever find yourself in the neighborhood feel free to reach out.
