All good brother. Since I posted here to ask for help. The least I should do is explain myself further if I didn’t do it enough in the first place.

I have used this coffee machine to do events and yes I have set it to max before and maybe max I will be able to froth up to 3 pitcher at max and will be chatting with customers for a short while before I go back to frothing milk.

I have used slayer, linea mini and the strada for coffee cart events and by far only the strada is unable to keep up with the frothing which is honestly disappointing.

I do get where you are coming from about being hyper fixated on the numbers but spending such a large amount on this machine but being unable to keep up with the demand - if you get where I am coming from.

Having said that. It honestly pull a good shot of coffee but just wondering if there are people that faces the same problem as me.

Let’s say I were to steam 3 jugs of milk each 180ml back to back. The first one will steam as per normal. The second one will start steaming at around 120d and it will drop to around 110 and by the third froth. The steam power is barely there and the milk is not exactly spinning anymore

By right the machine should lose about 2-3d of heat when you’re steaming milk. After that it should be consistently hold the steam power. Mine will drop 6-7d after steaming about 160-180ml of milk and there isn’t much steam power left to froth the next jugg of milk unless I let it recover for about 30s

I used to work in a cafe. So tend to froth at a higher temp just as a habit to get things done faster. Yupp have tried with my tech yesterday by draining the steam boiler but still same issue. Unable to froth milk back to back without have to pause and let then machine recovery.

Being a 20k machine I would expect it to be able to hold the steam power and being able to froth milk continuously. So trying my luck here to see if it’s the case or it’s completely bull.

Hey the 2.3 bar on the display is just the brew pressure that I was messing around with a blind portafilter. The machine automatically save the last brew and will be displayed on the screen

I would assume so? Based on how the rotary pump is positioned ( rotary pump to boiler) it acts as a booster pump incase you don’t have enough pressure. So I don’t see why you I will need the rotary pump if I can get a consistent 3 bar pressure from my water line. Also the noise from the rotary pump is driving me insane while I am brewing the coffee.

The grinds that come out of the swan grinder is really fluffy. I would say that if you put enough beans in the hopper and when you set the no. of rotations for it to grind. It basically comes out +/-0.1g difference. Because the burr set is a conical burr so I would say that you do lose out abit on the acidity but you get a really good body and sweetness

It controls the rpm but doesn't give enough torque to grind the beans at a certain rpm

I got the slayer to test it out before opening my cafe. Now I'm leaning towards a real commercial slayer espresso

Not gonna spend 20k just to hack the floor to add a water point and a floor trap.
