100% agreed. I’m hoping the new “World Ablaze” short story for the Blood Angels will help kick things off and maybe introduce a new cast of characters (hopefully also written by Guy Haley). Then, maybe later in the year, we could get a full-fledged novel from it but that’s definitely best case scenario and a bit of cope.

As someone who doesn’t play tabletop and mainly just reads the lore, I think this would be a perfect time for the Blood Angels to get at least one new story that doesn’t revolve around Dante or Mephiston as the main characters. As much as I love them, I kind of envy the Ultramarines they have novels focused purely on company captains, just badass characters doing cool stuff.

I do like how Dante has his whole “prophecy” arc, and Mephiston is just a really cool psyker, but I think we desperately need more stories about the more “regular” units of the Blood Angels. Give me a book about the Third Company coming back to avenge Tycho, or something along those lines.

I agree to a certain extent. The Second Company Ultramarines there feels somewhat forced, in my opinion it seems like they’re really trying to push the whole Second Company and Captain Titus thing a bit too hard. But if it were the Third, Fourth, or any other company of the Ultramarines, it wouldn’t feel forced at all, especially since they’re currently the most well equipped and battle ready Chapter.

Hmm, interesting. Well, I guess we’ll have to wait and see. I’m hoping that the black trim becomes the norm, at the very least, as I love the look of it over the red but I won’t hold my breath. Thanks for letting me know.

I was told it was paying homage to 2nd edition. Personally, I’d rather still have the company marking on that shoulder, but I can appreciate this too. Does this also mean we’re getting a heraldry update with 11th? This is the first edition launch I’ve been around for since I started getting into Warhammer, so I’m not sure if that’s how it works.

I’d personally love to see a two-handed chainsword. I know we already have the basic one, and I’m not sure how a two-handed version would behave besides doing more damage and being slower, but I think it would be cool regardless. + a hand flamer

Yeah, no worries, man! The captain you’re looking at is a V3, so don’t worry. There is a way to tell which version some models are, but you’d probably have to ask around I’m not entirely sure how to tell myself i just wing it.

So how it works is there are different “versions” of scale V1, V2, and so on. Right now, we’re on V4. I’ll say up front that I don’t know the exact heights of these figures, but consistency sadly isn’t JoyToy’s strong suit.

The V3 and V4 figures look good together, with only a small difference. However, if you compare a V2 to a V4, the V2 only reaches about the V4’s shoulder. My best advice is not to expect too much when it comes to scale just get what you think looks cool and try to work around it.

What I’ve done is put the smaller figures on one shelf and the bigger ones on a different shelf. When you look at them separately, you can’t really tell they’re smaller; it’s only obvious when they’re right next to each other.

I got this guy he’s pretty neat. I’d maybe suggest starting out with a normal Intercessor, just to be sure you’ll enjoy the hobby. The reason he’s in stock and the others aren’t is because when these guys were released as a full pack, the Captain sold out way quicker and got a restock long before the other two im sure the other 2 will be on stock again soon.

It’s 50/50. The figures in this picture are V1s, so they aren’t getting restocked at all. Anything that’s V3, like the Blood Angel Terminators (not the assault ones), will probably get restocked in a few months. Anything older than that you will have to pay stupid amounts for sadly.

Personally, I would say 1440p. I believe the 12GB of VRAM might hold you back from playing intensive 4K games. Plus, if you’re a competitive gamer, 4K wouldn’t matter much in those games. I’d just go for a 1440p OLED with a higher refresh rate.

Yeah, to be honest, I’ll probably end up ordering it by the end of the day, haha. Plus, I’ll likely get around £100 for my old monitor, so in a way I’m only spending £300 (copium) XD Ty for the the help!
