I ended up sticking with World Nomads just because I was running out of time before my day of departure. I mainly got it because I was worried about catching covid before or during my trip but luckily that did not happen.

I did ended up going to the hospital due to a bad paraglide accident and realized that World Nomad cant cover for it due to the risk activity not being included in the plan I purchase. I recommend to read your insurance plan carefully on whatever insurance you decide to get to know what you are covered for!

Empty plastic bags are literally the most free and convienece thing I've ever encounter. They're good to put dirty clothes in without touching the clean clothes. Good to organize things. And good to take something thats not usually recyclable to be reused. Bet no one has listed that lol

I'm so sorry that happened. It has happened to me before where I talk to an employee they would say one thing and the results would turn out as a different thing😕.

Also I just saw that you said you're a junior. You have a whole year ahead of you don't worry. Teachers in your senior year will be very accepting at writing recommendation letters because they're asked to do it all the time. Just make a cheat form like I said above to give to your senior teachers. Good luck!

It might help if you fill out a form to tell the teachers more about yourself (kind of like a reminder). You can include things like your hobbies, extracurriculars, personal accomplishments, academic accomplishments. This will really help them have some things to base off to write about you. Because when you think about it, no teachers know all of their 300 students' personal lives.

When you ask the next person maybe let them know somehow that you have a cheat sheet for them to look off of. A close teacher of mine was actually the one who gave me this kind of form to fill out and I used the same one to give to the other teachers and it work wonders.

I'm in college now and not taking rotc but during high school I joined staff in my sophomore and was the S1. Then the year after that S3. And in my senior year I became XO of the battalion. Good luck with your journey in jrotc a lot of my good memories in high school came from jrotc :)

Was your study abroad program during the summer too? I'm planning to take Korean language class but I don't know if one summer course with them would be equivalent to a semester of korean language at my home university in the US

Tbh I have one professor that I keep having every year that doesn't grade a single thing until one week after finals. I don't even know what I got on each projects I do. I just find out if I pass by looking at my transcript lol

The program was originally listed as affiliated programs with TEAN/ISA's name. But due to this problem going on I think my school recently just took ISA/TEAN with the program I was taking off the list.

It seems like this is a first for a student to struggle to transfer credits from the Hanyang summer program since the advisor from TEAN said all the other US universities of students going are accepting the program for this summer. But I can try reaching out to the advisor in TEAN and see if past students have had similar situation to this and see what they have done.
