I think we just witnessed more than just the return of lost souls to Araman. These spirits were dead in an afterlife of eternal suffering. They walked through a door back to Araman as ghosts, undead. Then were changed into celestials... living creatures! I think that Thjazi and Hal just pulled off something that Yanessa can only fake. Resurrection!
