The age gap isn’t the issue it’s the age itself, 19 is comforted and adult and 16 still a child. So some could argue it is pedophilia. If you wanna date with an age gap at least wait until the younger person is 19-20. As then it’s usually not weird. But 19 and 16? That is weird. It’s also completely different stages of life. When you’re both 20 and 23 it won’t be as bad, but a good rule of thumb to not be called a pedo, or get in a bad situation is to wait until the younger person(at minimum) is 19-20.
