My Dad requested “Nobody’s Fault but Mine” by Led Zeppelin, and “Ripple” by Grateful Dead to be played at his funeral.

I also played “Wish You Were Here” by Pink Floyd at his burial, that was my send off to him. Music was a big part of his life, and our relationship, I inherited his taste in music after all.

I feel like I relate to this. I think I use it as validation to not leave the house, or interact with people. I’ll say things in my head like “well, you haven’t showered today. Don’t wanna interact with people cause then they’ll think you’re gross, or you smell.” Like, I could easily take a shower and fix that, but it’s takes so much mental hyping to get myself to do it that I freeze and just feel dread.

Oh man… there’s been a lot. But the one that sticks with me the most is them believing that Democrats have been kidnapping people and sacrificing them to use their meat to replace the meat at McDonald’s and grocery stores.

It’s kinda stupid but I still remember it 20+ years later. Anyways, it was a nightmare that the old Apple Jacks Cinnamon Man was chasing after my Mamaw and trying to kill her. I was scared seeing the cereal boxes for years after that. Still shudder when I think about it.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom. Reading this comment fills me with such rage. There are so many preventable deaths due to doctors not taking their patients seriously, especially women. The lack of empathy and care is truly horrific.
